Spencer Andrews: Principal and Majority Owner of Andrews Autosport

Spencer Andrews is one of principal owners of Andrews Autosport. Spencer began his career working in NASCAR in the early 2000’s for teams such as Dale Earnhardt Inc, Evernham Motorsports, and Roush Racing. He has handled publicist duties for drivers including David Stremme, Scott Riggs, Kasey Kahne and Michael Waltrip. In 2008 Andrews left NASCAR to return to his home state of Arkansas to begin a career in corporate marketing. He has managed marketing for brands like Verizon, Valvoline, Unilever Foods, and Stanley Tools. Andrews is currently the Director of Marketing at BSR, a publicly traded real estate investment trust headquartered in Little Rock.

Friends most often recall Spencer’s 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that he has owned since 1994 and is still in his garage today. But Spencer’s favorite vehicle he ever owned was a 1987 Cadillac Brougham D’Elegance edition affectionately named the “L-Train”. The vehicle was won by Andrews in a sealed auction bid from the North Carolina drug seizure auction in 2005.

“It was right at the beginning of the whole Donk phase,” said Andrews. “It went 0-60 in about 60 seconds, but it was pretty intimidating looking with 22inch rims, two 12s in the trunk, and a screen in the dash. I never missed a 50/50 parking spot.”
